There he jumped between roles in production management (The Iron Giant, Eight Crazy Nights) and as an animator (Osmosis Jones, The Karate Guard). Returning to Ireland in 2002 he founded Barley Films with his sister Niamh producing ten award-winning shorts in a variety of techniques. Between 2005 &#038; 2013 he was a tutor on the animation degree course at the National Film School (IADT) in Ireland.
