Formou-se em Literatura Internacional, obtendo um PHD na Sorbonne, Paris. Come\u00e7ou sua carreira na anima\u00e7\u00e3o como diretora da Europa para a produtora canadense Nelvana Europe, encarregando-se de coprodu\u00e7\u00f5es e vendas internacionais (Babar, As Aventuras de Tintin), onde ganhou seu primeiro Emmy (Rolie Polie Olie). Depois de dois anos como diretora de Desenvolvimento Criativo na Milimages, uniu-se com Jean-Baptiste Wery em 2010 para criar Dandelooo, a fim de desenvolver, produzir e distribuir anima\u00e7\u00f5es ambiciosas no mundo inteiro, principalmente baseadas em livros infantis e\/ou talentos \u00fanicos. Foi cocriadora da s\u00e9rie h\u00edbrida Treehouse Stories (que lhe deu seu segundo Emmy) e ajudou na coprodu\u00e7\u00e3o de outros programas exclusivos (Mum is Pouring Rain), al\u00e9m de joias animadas baseadas em livros (Billy the Cowboy Hamster). Em 1992 se formou em Artes Pl\u00e1sticas \u2013 Pintura, na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa (ESBAL). Estudou desenho e anima\u00e7\u00e3o de bonecos em Lazennec-Bretanha\/Rennes, Fran\u00e7a, e no Est\u00fadio Film\u00f3grafo do Porto, Portugal, em 1993\/4. No ano 2000, seu filme de 25 minutos \u201cA Suspeita\u201d recebeu o CARTOON D\u2019OR. Em 2012, junto com Ana Carina, fundou a produtora cinematogr\u00e1fica portuguesa Pra\u00e7a Filmes. Nos \u00faltimos anos, dirigiu a s\u00e9rie infantil stop motion para TV \u201cAs Coisas L\u00e1 de Casa\u201d, os curtas \u201cPasseio de Domingo\u201d, \u201cViagem a Cabo Verde\u201d e \u201cEstilha\u00e7os\u201d. Este \u00faltimo foi selecionado para competir na categoria de curtas no Festival de cinema Locarno em 2016 e recebeu o pr\u00eamio ao melhor document\u00e1rio no Festival de Curtas Clemont-Ferrand em 2017. Em 2022, terminou a produ\u00e7\u00e3o do filme animado \u201cNayola\u201d, com roteiro de Virg\u00edlio Almeida, baseado na pe\u00e7a \u201cA Caixa Preta\u201d de Jos\u00e9 Eduardo Aguatusa e Mia Couto.
