L\u00e1 ele alternou entre fun\u00e7\u00f5es de gerenciamento de produ\u00e7\u00e3o (The Iron Giant, Eight Crazy Nights) e como animador (Osmosis Jones, The Karate Guard). Retornando \u00e0 Irlanda em 2002, fundou a Barley Films com sua irm\u00e3 Niamh, produzindo dez curtas-metragens premiados em diversas t\u00e9cnicas. Entre 2005 e 2013 foi tutor do curso de anima\u00e7\u00e3o da National Film School (IADT) na Irlanda.
