The co-production and business forum is organized according to the need to create links between companies in order to co-produce, co-develop and work at the Ibero-American level.

It has a format composed by work tables and B2B meetings where companies have great prominence and access to the main Ibero-American agents. To broaden horizons and draw bridges, companies from outside Ibero-America are invited to participate with a special focus on Europe.

For scheduled B2B meetings, a personalized agenda is made for each participant according to the format, techniques and target preferences, as well as the languages ​​spoken, selected in the registration form. Meetings are always assigned to promote business within the animation industry and to be beneficial and of interest to both parties together.

Producers, creators, buyers, distributors, investors, institutions and festivals can participate in the forum.

In the third edition of the Co-Production and Business Forum of the Quirino Awards, which has the collaboration of ICEX, Animation From Spain and PROEXCA, more than 90 companies from 19 countries participate. Throughout a month, representatives of channels, distributors and producers have the opportunity to know, through online meetings with Ibero-American professionals, different projects from the 23 countries of the Ibero-American region. These scheduled B2B meetings make a total of more than 800 meetings.

Adult Swim, Discovery Kids, Cartoon Network, Disney TV Animation, Pakapaka, RTVE, Playkids, Sesame Workshop, PGS, Zodiak Kids, Toonz Media, Dandeloo, GFM Films, Monster Entertainment, Planeta Junior, Kreiworks, Indie Sales, Autour de Minuit, Alterego, Xilam Animation, Metrovision, Spirit Animation, Red Animation, Human Ark, Ikki Films, Ánima, Momakin and Barley Films are some of the channels, distributors and production companies that have participated in this edition.

To stand out, the meeting between the Ibermedia Program and the sector associations in the region. FORUM’S REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED!

The new deadline for registration to the Quirino co-production and business forum is Thursday, March 5th at 11:59 p.m. Mexico (GMT-8).

On April 16th, 17th and 18th in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in addition to the B2B meetings and awards ceremony work tables, masterclass, screenings and several networking activities will take place. At the work tables, we will talk about Ibero-American actions that structure the sector, technology applied to production, women in Ibero-American animation and the meeting between Ibero-American production companies’ associations and Ibermedia.

En cuanto a las reuniones B2B con televisiones, distribuidoras y productoras se diferenciarán dos modalidades:

1. Reuniones B2B: reuniones agendadas con diversos profesionales de la animación. Con los intereses que nos confirmasteis en el formulario y lo que buscan estos profesionales organizaremos reuniones que tendrán lugar viernes 5 y sábado 6 en la tarde.

2. Zona de reuniones: en paralelo podréis agendar más reuniones B2B con todos los participantes del foro. Para ello habrá espacios y tiempos disponibles que coordinaremos con vosotros a medida de vuestras peticiones.*

Mesa de trabajo Ibermedia y asociaciones de productoras de animación iberoamericanas

Dentro de la misión de los Premios Quirino de estructurar y potenciar la industria iberoamericana de la animación, se ha acordado con el Programa Ibermedia organizar una mesa de trabajo en el marco de la primera edición de los premios en la ciudad de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. El principal objetivo de este encuentro es analizar las especificidades de la animación para facilitar el acceso de proyectos de animación a este programa iberoamericano de estímulo a la coproducción cinematográfica en la región.

Para ello asistirán las principales asociaciones y gremios de animación de España, Portugal y los países latinoamericanos que, junto a los representantes de la Secretaría Técnica y Ejecutiva de Ibermedia, darán forma a propuestas concretas que serán puestas a disposición del Comité intergubernamental de la Conferencia de Autoridades Cinematográficas de Iberoamérica (CACI) durante la reunión que celebrará en el 21º Festival de Málaga (13 – 22 de abril).
