HERNÁN
LA GRECA

An award-winning executive with 25 years of experience in brand strategy, creative direction and content development, Hernán began his career as a journalist, writing for Rolling Stone, Los Inrockuptibles and Magazín Literario. After a brief period in advertising, he joined Cartoon Network Latin America in early 2000 as a Writer/Producer and eventually Creative Director. In 2014, he also took charge of content development and opened the Original Production department, which produced hits such as “Otra Semana en Cartoon”, “Villanos” and “Frankelda’s Book of Spooks”, just to mention a few. He received more than 40 awards at international festivals such as Cannes, The One Show, Design & Art Direction, New York Festivals and FIAP, among others. He’s a member of several poetry anthologies and has published the book La fuerza, Rosario, Bajo la luna nueva, 2001. Hernán La Greca was born in 1968 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and lives in Atlanta, GA, USA.

KENNETH  
LADEKJÆR

Co-founder and co-owner of the animation studio Sun Creature Located in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated from The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark where he co-directed his bachelor short film “The Reward” which became a viral hit online and spawned an entire web series partly funded via crowd- and public funding. He has since then worked as a storyboarder on a few successful shows such as “Gumball” and “Ivandoe”, and directed several commercials for Riot games. On the documentary animated film “Flee”, winner of the European Documentary and European Animated Feature Film at the European Film Awards (EFA), he was the animation director and lead storyboarder, working closely with the director and the art-director of the film.

MAGDIELA
HERMIDA DUHAMEL

Animation Producer with animation & live action production experience from page to post. Her career spans various studios (FX Networks, FOX, DreamWorks Animation, Warner Brothers Animation) and projects such as Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, Marvel Studios’ first animated series What If…? and Nickelodeon’s first Mexican-American show The Casagrandes. Magdiela champions and advocates for diversity both in front and behind the camera. In 2018, Magdiela founded LatinX in Animation (LXiA), a signature program under the Latino Film Institute, to build a community for Latinx professionals that work in different roles throughout animation, VFX, and gaming. She currently serves as LXiA’s Co-Director.

SEBASTIAN  
DEBERTIN

Head of International Content, Acquisitions & Co-Productions at KiKA – The Children’s Channel of ARD & ZDF. Sebastian helped to create and launch KiKA, Germany’s public kids content provider 25 years ago. He looks for both, Fiction and Non-Fiction projects/programs for KiKA and its platforms across all genres from all international sources. Sebastian has been key in acquiring, creating, producing and co-producing major brands and super hit programs for the KiKA-world, including “Yakari”, “Fireman Sam”, “Guess how much I love you”, “Chloés Closet”, “Franklin”, “Carebears”, “Lily’s Driftwood Bay”, “Insectibles”, “Animanimals”, “Tib+Tumtum”, “Jakers!”, “Esme & Roy”, “Super Wings” and many more. His current animation projects are for e.g. the Emmy-nominated special “The Lost Letter” with Lupus Films and Dream Logic, “Dog Loves Books” with -iGeneration Studios (aka Komixx-Entertainment) and the BBC, “The Smurfs” with IMPS-Peyo Prod., “Dupuis” with TF1, “Odo” with Sixteen South and Letko, and “Mumfie” with Zodiak Kids and Animoka alongside France Télévisions and RAI. Sebastian has won several national and international awards, including an Emmy and was honored recently with the 1st “TV Kids Pioneer Award”.

ZOFIA  
JAROSZUK

Graduated from Film and Culture Management at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. After gaining experience in the field of international promotion of Polish short films at KFF Sales & Promotion she moved to film production. She collaborates with Animoon since 2015 where she’s been performing her duties as a supervising producer working on projects of short films, feature films and series. She creatively overlooks the projects from the development to the promotion stage. Among them she was production manager and supervising producer of the feature films “Moomins and the Winter Wonderland” (Muumien taikatalvi), Finnish and Polish coproduction and “Even Mice Belong in Heaven”, Czech, French, Polish & Slovak coproduction, and supervising producer of the TV series and feature film “Hug Me”. In 2019 she was appointed as a Polish Film Institute expert. She is an EAVE Marketing Workshop graduate.
