BARRY
O´DONOGHUE
Barry joined the Feature Animation division at Warner Brothers in Los Angeles in 1998 where he worked in production management (The Iron Giant, Eight Crazy Nights) and as an animator (Osmosis Jones, The Karate Guard). Returning to Ireland in 2002 he founded Barley Films with his sister Niamh, producing ten award-winning shorts in a variety of techniques – hand-drawn, stop-motion, paint on glass & CGI. He has consulted on projects for the Irish studios Cartoon Saloon, An Man & Ink and Paper Panther Films. Between 2005 & 2013 he was a tutor on the animation degree course at the National Film School (IADT) in Ireland. He is currently directing the hand-drawn animated feature Little Caribou.
CIELO
SALVIOLO
Cielo Salviolo is a producer, director, and creator of content and formats for children’s audiences, with extensive experience in television, digital platforms, and interactive environments. She was director of Pakapaka for eight years, Argentina’s first public children’s channel, where she promoted more than 200 series and audiovisual projects that won national and international awards, including Emmy Kids nominations. Her work encompasses transmedia narratives, interactive installations, and digital convergence. She has developed audiovisual projects in various Latin American countries in all formats. She currently directs the educational channel Escuela Plus for Fundación Norma y Werthein / DIRECTV–SKY.
LOÏC
PORTIER
Member of the French Academy of cinema – Cesar Awards. He’s the creator and director of the international animation short film festival of Roanne – Cine Court Animé (France) that will celebrate its 17th edition in 2026. Loic Portier is also programmer of Weird Market – Wfest Spain, and has worked for international festivals such as the International Young Filmmakers Festival of Granada. He has also produced film exhibitions from national and international awarded directors (Skhizein, L’envers du décor by Jérémy Clapin, Beauty by Rino Stefano Tagliafierro, Les curiosités numériques de François Vogel, etc). He’s been a jury member in many international events and he is giving many master classes and workshops.
MERCEDES
MARRO
Mercedes has over 25 years of experience in the animation industry as a creator, director, and producer. She has participated in numerous international co-productions. Among her most award-winning works are the series Ask Lara, Picnic with Pastries, and Emmy & Gooroo, and the short films Camino de Agua para un pez and Star Bright. Since 2017, her activity has focused on production services, contributing her creative vision and industry knowledge from her company Tomavision Studio in Tenerife. Notable titles include Space Jam: A New Legacy (WB), The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy (Titmouse/Amazon Prime), Dora and the Lost City of the Lost Ancestors (Nickelodeon), and the feature film Caterella (Storm Films).

RODRÍGUEZ
Founder of PPM Multimedia (1990 – 2000), working on: international distribution, co-production´s financing and executive production of several animated series. Executive producer of seven feature films, receiving 4 Goyas (‘El Cid: The Legend’, ‘Pinocchio 3000’, ‘Nocturna’, ‘The Hairy Tooth Fairy’). He runs Media Training & Consulting, company dedicated to the training and consultancy of digital content. He’s consultant for ICEX and he´s expert for the EU´s Media Creative program.
RISA
COHEN
Born in NY, Risa started as a Playwright and Producer in Europe, where she has lived and worked for +35 years. Her career in both videogames and films includes clients Disney, Universal Studios, Warner Bros, and the German Galileo series with ProSieben. Her film credits as Production Executive/ Guarantor for animated films include “Deep,” “Ozzy,” and Oscar-nominated “The Breadwinner” with Cartoon Saloon. Passionate about welcoming new talent, Risa works as a visiting professor with ETIC Algarve and their Teesside University program to continually improve the industry.
