BARRY
O´DONOGHUE

Following a Law Degree and Diploma in Business Studies at University College Dublin, Barry studied animation then joined the Feature Animation division at Warner Brothers in Los Angeles in 1998. There he jumped between roles in production management (The Iron Giant, Eight Crazy Nights) and as an animator (Osmosis Jones, The Karate Guard). Returning to Ireland in 2002 he founded Barley Films with his sister Niamh producing ten award-winning shorts in a variety of techniques. Between 2005 & 2013 he was a tutor on the animation degree course at the National Film School (IADT) in Ireland. He is currently directing the hand-drawn animated feature Little Caribou.

CARLOS 
ROCA

He began his career in 1989 in the series “The Fruitties” at D’Ocon Films Productions and since then has participated in more than 30 animated series. He has worked as Director and Production Manager at 3 Doubles Producciones, Tomavision, La Casa Animada, Tiburon de Animación, Red Mouse Factory, Motion Pictures, D’Ocon Films Productions and has participated in international co-productions with Left Pocket, Filmax, BRB, Neptuno, ICAIC, Marina, Dargaud, Carrere, France Animation, among others. He also worked as Overseas Supervisor in China, Korea, Philippines, and Cuba. He has participated in animation training actions in Tenerife and Barcelona and collaborated as an expert in the elaboration of the professional qualification IS_1.995_3 Animation Design and Production with 2D and 3D Techniques with the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Katarzyna  
Gromadzka

Producer and production coordinator in international co-productions of animations and documentaries. Started her professional career as a production manager and set manager in tv ads and music videos production, as well as working for numerous film festivals. In 2010 she joined Se-ma-for studio as events coordinator and production assistant, where she shortly became a head production manager of shorts and line producer of tv series. Co-founder of Momakin and co-organizer of Animarkt Stop Motion Forum. Executive producer, minority co-producer and production coordinator of stop motion animated projects, occasionally produces 2D animations and documentaries. She is a member of Polish Filmmakers Association (SFP) and Polish Animation Producers Association (SPPA).

LOÏC
PORTIER

Member of the French Academy’s Cesar Awards animation Committee. Creator and director of Cine Court Animé Roanne (France) since 2009. Programmer in various animation events: Weird Market – 3D Wire (since 2009), International Young Filmmakers Festival of Granada (2006 – 2016), Medellin Festival (2012 – 2014) and film expositions (Le laboratoire D’images, En sortant de l’école S3, Skhizein, L’envers du décor).

RODRÍGUEZ

Founder of PPM Multimedia (1990 – 2000), working on: international distribution, co-production´s financing and executive production of several animated series. Executive producer of seven feature films, receiving 4 Goyas (‘El Cid: The Legend’, ‘Pinocchio 3000’, ‘Nocturna’, ‘The Hairy Tooth Fairy’). He runs Media Training & Consulting, company dedicated to the training and consultancy of digital content. He’s consultant for ICEX and he´s expert for the EU´s Media Creative program.

SYDNEY
PADUA

An animator and Eisner Award-nominated graphic novelist. She has been working in hand-drawn, CG, and VFX films and commercials for over 20 years, from ‘The Iron Giant’ to the recent ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘The Lion King’, and ‘The One and Only Ivan’. Her animated short film ‘Agricultural Report’ was nominated for an Annie award and has screened in over a hundred festivals.
