GIANNALBERTO
BENDAZZI

Italian film historian. He was a professor at Milan’s Università degli Studi, at the Brisbane’s Griffith University and at the Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University. Writer of “Animation – A World History”, based on the idea that animation is an art form that deserves its own place in scholarship. Founding member of the Society for Animation Studies, and Board member of International Asifa for nine years.

ELEANOR
COLEMAN

American producer and distributor. She was responsible for conceiving and implementing the first 360° strategy for children’s programming and digital content at TFOU. She works in animated feature film and transmedia projects acquisition, development and production with Indie Sales. Her cartoon television work focuses on international development and pre-sales for Blue Spirit. She is also a founding member and co-vice president of ‘Les Femmes s’animent’ (Women in Animation), promoting women in the animation industry and gender equality.

DAVID
FEISS

North-American animator. Started working at Hanna-Barbera being a teenager. Supervising producer and storyboard artist in the series “Alvin and the Chipmunks” (1988, DIC Entertainment). Director of the first season of “Ren and Stimpy” (1990, Nickelodeon). Creator and director of Cartoon Network’s series “Cow and Chicken” (1996 – 1999).

Animator at Disney in “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, “Lion King”, “Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “Hercules” and “Pocahontas”. Sequence director of “Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius” (nominated for an Oscar). Co-writer and director of “The Missing Lynx”. Producer of the Academy Award Nominee short film “The Lady and the Reaper”. Director and producer of “Extraordinary Tales” (nominated for two ANNIE Awards). Member of the Academy of Motion Pictures of Arts and Sciences of Hollywood and the Spanish Film Academy.

JOAN
LOFTS

Served as Director of Television at Contender Entertainment Group. Some of its recent animated hits include “Tractor Tom”, “Peppa Pig”, “Humf”, “Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom” and “Lost and Found”. She was Deputy Head of Acquisitions and Development for CBBC and responsible for producing various children animated series. She worked at Disney Channel UK. She is now a freelance consultant, projects’ mentor for the European Media Programme and moderator at Cartoon Forum.
