1. Why do we process your data? (Purposes)
Through the website https://premiosquirino.org/ we process users’ personal data for the following purposes:
- Responding to queries and requests received through the contact channels enabled on the Website.
- Management, organization, and dissemination of the Quirino Awards for Ibero-American Animation, including:
- Event, forum and professional activity registrations, and accreditations.
- Operational and organizational communications related to the event.
- Preparation of lists, programmes and related documentation.
- Administrative and operational management of participants, collaborators, suppliers and entities linked to the event.
- Sending informational and/or marketing communications related to the Quirino Awards and related activities, where there is a lawful basis.
- Selection processes and professional collaboration linked to activities, forums or initiatives of the event.
- Website security and maintenance, including management of technical records (logs), fraud prevention and access control.
- Compliance with legal, tax, accounting and administrative obligations, as well as handling data subjects’ rights and cooperating with competent authorities.
2. What is the legal basis for processing?
The legal bases that legitimize the processing of data are:
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): management of registrations, accreditations, participation in activities and relationships with suppliers or collaborators.
- Data subject’s consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): sending informational or marketing communications, inclusion in talent databases or voluntary participation in specific initiatives, and, where applicable, use of image and/or voice.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): responding to queries, maintaining Website security and sending communications about similar activities to existing participants or collaborators, in accordance with Art. 21.2 of the LSSI and following a balancing test.
- Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): tax, accounting, administrative and record-keeping obligations.
3. What data do we process and where does it come from?
Data categories
- Identification and contact data: first name, last name, email address, telephone number.
- Professional data: company, role, short biography or professional information (in the context of events and forums).
- Transactional and administrative data: registrations, accreditations, payments or invoicing where applicable.
- Event participation data: registered activities, schedules, talks or accreditations.
- Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, activity records and logs.

4. Who do we share data with? (Recipients)
Data may be disclosed to:
- Service providers acting as data processors, under an agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR (web hosting, email, office tools, analytics, event organization platforms and IT support).
- Companies or entities participating in professional or selection activities, when the process requires it or the data subject expressly consents. In such cases, these entities will act as independent controllers and must inform the data subject in accordance with Art. 14 GDPR.
- Public administrations and competent authorities, where there is a legal obligation or request.
- Funding bodies, where the Quirino Awards or related activities are funded or co-funded by European public bodies, such as the EACEA. In such cases, data may be disclosed to EACEA for justification and control purposes, in accordance with its privacy policies available at:

5. Are there international data transfers?
There may be international transfers if certain providers or recipients are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, Paramotion Films applies appropriate safeguards, such as European Commission adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other supplementary measures. The data subject may request additional information about these safeguards.
6. How long do we retain data?
- Queries and requests: 12 months from the last relevant interaction.
- Participants, collaborators and suppliers: for the duration of the relationship and, thereafter, for 6 years, in accordance with legal obligations.
- Events and activities: during event management and, for historical or promotional purposes (for example, official programmes), up to 5 years, unless a legitimate objection is raised.
- Applications and collaborations: up to 24 months, unless otherwise indicated.
- Marketing communications: until the data subject unsubscribes or withdraws consent.
Retention periods may be extended where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
7. Data subject rights
The data subject may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, data portability and withdrawal of consent (without retroactive effect).
